R.R. Cassidy, a Quanta Services, Inc. company, is seeking an Assistant Estimator in Beaumont, TX. This role supports the estimating team with cost estimates, takes-offs, and vendor pricing to ensure competitive bids.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, performing quantity take-offs, and assisting in bid preparation. Travel to Beaumont, Monday–Friday, is required; office presence is mandatory.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in estimating, construction, or related field.
• Associate or bachelor degree preferred in CM/Engineering/Architecture.
• Basic understanding of construction materials and terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for all project phases.
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and specs.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Maintain cost databases and unit cost information.
• Review bid documents to identify scope and risks.
• Support bid proposals, budgets, and cost comparisons.
• Assist handoff to operations and procurement after award.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits.
