Job summary

R.R. Cassidy is seeking an Assistant Estimator to join our Beaumont, TX office. The role supports the estimating team in creating accurate cost estimates, performing quantity take-offs, and gathering supplier pricing for bid preparation.

The position is on-site in Beaumont, Monday through Friday, with opportunities to work with project managers and engineers on multiple construction projects. A degree in a related field is preferred and 1–3 years of experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for all phases of construction projects (conceptual, schematic, design development, and final).
• Perform quantity take-offs using drawings, specs and estimating software.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Maintain and update cost databases and unit cost information.
• Support bid proposals, budgets and cost comparisons.
