Job summary

R.R. Cassidy is seeking an on-site Assistant Estimator in Beaumont, TX to support the estimating team with cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and pricing analysis. This role involves collaboration with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate bids.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in estimating or construction, a basic understanding of materials and methods, and strong communication. Monday–Friday, 7AM–5PM in the Beaumont office.

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
1–3 years of estimating, construction, or related field experience.
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work with project teams.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for all project phases.
Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and specs.
Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes.
Maintain cost databases and historical pricing records.
Review bid documents to identify scope and risks.
Support bid proposals, budgets, and cost comparisons.
Assist with project handoff to operations and procurement.
