Job summary

North Wind Group seeks a Senior Estimator to develop estimates, review RFPs, solicit subcontractors, and prepare BOEs across a variety of projects. You will collaborate with regional managers, ensure bid strategies align with capabilities, and manage schedules and documentation.

The role requires 2+ years in estimating, a background in design-build, and strong Excel/Office skills; travel is expected 0–25%. Security clearance ability is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of estimator experience required.
• Experience with design-build project delivery preferred.
• Experience with estimating from concept-level bidding documents.
• Experience developing BOE and LOE estimates preferred.
• Experience with subcontractor solicitations and quotes.

Responsibilities

• Perform takeoffs on a wide variety of features of work.
• Develop complete project estimates and resource libraries.
• Create Basis of Estimates (BOE) for diverse work types.
• Lead bid reviews with management and external teams.
• Solicit subcontractor pricing and manage bid process.
• Travel to meetings and site visits as required.
• Maintain bid document control and risk mitigation.
