North Wind Group seeks a Senior Estimator to develop estimates, review RFPs, solicit subcontractors, and prepare BOEs across a variety of projects. You will collaborate with regional managers, ensure bid strategies align with capabilities, and manage schedules and documentation.
The role requires 2+ years in estimating, a background in design-build, and strong Excel/Office skills; travel is expected 0–25%. Security clearance ability is required.

Work with Regional & Company Estimating Manager to complete estimate development. Conduct RFP reviews, scope development, subcontractor solicitation, quote comparisons, estimate development & closeout.
Education and Experience:
Ability to obtain security clearance.
Employee must be able to pass security clearance required to access government installations throughout CONUS and OCONUS.
Ability to estimate a wide variety of self performed work will be given higher consideration.
4 Year Degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be sitting for long periods of time in an office environment. Sedentary physical workload; must be able to exert up to a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body; required to have a close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading; specific physical requirements include, but are not limited to, sitting, walking, talking, hearing and performing repetitive motions. The employee is often required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Candidate must be able to physically attend construction site visits which could require climbing stairs, ladders & accessing tight spaces.
Candidate must be able to travel to locations throughout North Wind’s operational area to attend site visits.
