Job summary

North Wind Group is seeking a Senior Environmental Estimator to collaborate with Presidents, PMO Directors, and technical leads to develop accurate, competitive, and risk-informed project estimates. This role leads estimate development, guides internal pricing reviews, and ensures strategies align with market conditions and our environmental capabilities.

The position requires 5+ years of senior estimator experience, familiarity with government contracting, and strong MS Excel/MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior estimator experience.
• Experience with estimates based on scope, specs, drawings and reports.
• Experience with BOE (Basis of Estimate) and LOE estimating preferred.
• Experience with Federal Government contracting is required.
• Strong MS Excel and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimates for environmental projects including characterization, demolition, remediation and related work.
• Analyze scope, specs, drawings and reports to prepare labour, equipment, subcontractor, and materials estimates.
• Collaborate with PMO, project managers and technical leads to support budgeting and financial planning.
• Develop Basis of Estimates and lead bid reviews with management.
• Travel to site visits and coordinate with schedulers and technical leads.
