An established and growing construction organization is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead complex Design-Build and EPC estimates across a diverse portfolio of projects and clients. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving estimating strategy, managing risk, and delivering accurate, defensible cost proposals that support successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead estimating strategy and oversee full-cycle Design-Build and EPC proposal development
• Manage estimating teams through preconstruction services and workload scheduling
• Drive risk review processes and develop fee, contingency, and escalation recommendations
• Review and approve subcontractor solicitations, bid packages, pricing, bonds, and insurance quotes
• Validate equipment pricing, general conditions, indirect costs, and commercial terms
• Present estimates to internal leadership and external clients with professionalism and credibility
• Oversee joint venture estimate reviews and contract partnering strategies
• Maintain cost history databases and ensure compliance with estimating methodologies
• Review scope documents for gaps/overlaps and validate clarifications and assumptions
• Mentor and train junior estimators and support staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 7 years of direct project estimating experience
• Strong background in Design-Build and EPC project delivery
• OSHA 10-hour certification required
• Expertise with Microsoft Office, ConEst, and K-base
• Proven ability to think analytically, manage risk, and make sound decisions under deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
