Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing seeks a Senior Estimator to lead estimates across residential, commercial and industrial projects. You will meet with clients, develop quality estimates using Xactimate, manage work through completion and communicate progress to clients and management.

You will create accurate scopes, floor plans and roof sketches in Xactimate Sketch, apply building codes, adhere to budgets and coordinate with trades to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• 3 plus years' experience in Construction, Restoration or Contents Estimating.
• Residential estimating experience over $50,000 and Commercial up to $100,000.
• Achievement of Estimating Platform Level 1 and 2 user certification.
• Xactimate Intermediate training completion.
• National rate and Material invoicing experience.
• Understanding of MSDS data sheets and their job applicability.
• Use of the Xactimate estimate formatting standards for proposals and change orders.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel, Word, and Outlook; proficiency with Xactimate.
• Professional demeanor and excellent telephone skills.
• Ability to work well with others and maintain professional interactions with coworkers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate scopes with very few over/under scopes.
• Create accurate floor plans and multi-level/roof sketches in Xactimate Sketch.
• Must have working knowledge of applicable building codes.
• Maintain a construction schedule and coordinate with trades to finish on time.
• Identify and present solutions when additional resources are needed.
• Serve as primary contact with owners, adjusters, and consultants.
• Scope development, negotiation and agreements with customers.
• Coordinate after hours emergency services as directed.
• Comply with company and department policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards.
• Expand and maintain local area clientele; book of business approx. $2M-$4M.
