Job summary

First Onsite Property Restoration is seeking an Estimator to prepare accurate project cost projections using Xactimate, review field measurements, photos, and plans, and collaborate with the Operations team to build clear scopes and budgets. You will manage subcontractors, schedules, and change orders while ensuring safety, code compliance, and client satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, a service mindset, and the ability to keep all project documentation current to drive

Qualifications

• 2+ years in restoration/construction.
• 3 current certifications; Xactimate certification within 6 months.
• Able to read blueprints & architectural plans.
• Skilled in drawings, specs, documents & take-offs.
• Experience ensuring code compliance.
• Cross-trained in DR/GC.
• High school diploma required; degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Certain healthcare-related roles may require additional drug/alcohol screening per CCS regulations in Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to define project scope and execute work plans.
• Manage subcontractors, schedules, crews, and job site operations.
• Oversee budgets, estimates, and change orders to ensure profitability.
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance with company and industry standards.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and job activity records.
• Produce accurate estimates using Xactimate, Excel, or other software.
• Prepare project handoff documents and coordinate with Operations.
• Provide 24/7 response when needed and uphold a clean, safe job site.
