Job summary

Aristeo seeks a seasoned Estimator to lead hard bids and negotiated proposals for manufacturing, power, and energy projects. You will drive scope definitions, develop complete estimates, and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure competitive proposals.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of estimating experience, a civil engineering or construction management background, and proficiency with MS Office and scheduling tools. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with scheduling tools (MS Project or equivalent).
• Strong conceptual estimating, estimating techniques, and cost control knowledge.
• Ability to prepare proposals with minimal supervision and work effectively in teams.

Responsibilities

• Review proposal specs, determine scope and contents of estimate.
• Prepare detailed trade scopes and backup documentation.
• Solicit subcontractor/supplier proposals and evaluate for completeness and competitiveness.
• Develop options and recommend best-value solutions based on cost, engineering, quality, and material availability.
• Maintain positive relationships with owners, consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Assist operations with awarded contracts and change orders as needed.
• Coordinate with Proposal Coordinator to develop complete proposals (schedules, narratives, org charts).
• Develop conceptual proposals to support business development and client maintenance.
• Negotiate and issue subcontracts.
