Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced estimator to develop, document, and defend cost estimates for programs spanning liquid rocket propulsion and spaceflight services. You will collaborate with engineering, program management, supply chain, finance, and capture leaders to build competitive proposals for commercial and government customers.

This role involves leading BOE narratives, estimating multi-volume government proposals, and shaping estimating practices within a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years cost estimating or proposal pricing in aerospace/defense environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver cost estimates and price volumes that comply with FAR, DFARS, NFS, CAS, and customer instructions.
• Write Basis of Estimate narratives documenting approaches, assumptions and rationale.
• Manage multiple estimating efforts across varying scopes and dollar values.
