Job summary

Blue Origin in Denver, CO, is hiring a senior cost estimator to lead proposal pricing and cost volume development for spaceflight systems. You will develop comprehensive cost estimates, write BOEs, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support the full proposal lifecycle.

You will apply FAR/DFARS knowledge, build robust cost models, mentor teammates, and ensure compliance with US government requirements while advancing Blue Origin’s mission to lower the cost of access to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in cost estimating or pricing.
• Strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, NFS and US government compliance.
• Ability to read RFP/SOW and related cost docs.
• Proven ability to train and mentor others.
• U.S. citizen or eligible work status.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and present cost estimates compliant with requirements.
• Support proposal activities for government and commercial customers.
• Develop cost estimates for IR&D efforts.
• Prepare cost estimates across product lines (propulsion, launch, in-space).
• Write Basis of Estimate narratives.
• Collaborate with cost professionals to deliver high-quality estimates.
