Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Estimator with deep expertise in commercial specialty construction, including drywall, metal framing, ceilings, plaster, EIFS and wall systems. You will mentor others and grow into leadership as you handle large, complex estimates for high-profile projects.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of estimating experience, strong Bluebeam and ERP proficiency, and MS Office mastery, with a focus on preconstruction strategy and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in commercial specialty construction.
• Experience with interior and/or exterior specialty contractor scopes such as drywall, metal framing, ceilings, plaster, EIFS, wall systems, acoustics.
• Proven ability to independently manage large, complex or high-profile estimates.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam and estimating software (BuzzBid, QuickBid, OST) or equivalents.
• Strong MS Office skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Understanding of labor productivity, material procurement, and construction means and methods.
• Experience evaluating contract language and identifying project risks.
• Experience supporting large-scale commercial projects, preferably healthcare/education/industrial/hospitality/mission-critical spaces.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Penta, Plexxis, Viewpoint or Sage.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Experience supporting negotiated work, design-assist, or design-build delivery methods preferred.
