Job summary

BUILD Renewables, LLC, a nationwide EPC company focused on utility-scale solar and battery energy storage, is seeking an Estimating Manager who will lead the estimating team, create budgets and detailed scopes of work, and standardize procedures for bid packages and cost tracking.

You will collaborate with Preconstruction and Operations to assemble self-perform estimates for civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes, supporting company growth and margin enhancement through

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of construction industry experience with 5+ years in estimating and 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Renewable energy estimating experience preferred with knowledge of scopes, cost control and material pricing.
• Proficient in Excel, Bluebeam, AutoCAD and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Track and evaluate project costs against bid pricing to build accurate cost history.
• Assign responsibilities for the estimating team on each project.
• Communicate with site teams regarding methods, requirements and historical data.
• Maintain consistency of estimate methodologies across projects.
• Lead training and development of estimating staff.
• Coordinate cost data and take-offs for various engineering packages.
• Oversee bid package preparation and final submissions.
