Job summary

MasTec Renewables, part of a leading construction group, is seeking an Estimating Manager (Solar) to lead large EPC estimates. The role involves directing the estimating team across multiple pursuits, defining scope, assessing risks, and ensuring compliant, high-quality proposals.

Onsite work at Fargo or other listed locations with coordination across project teams. You will drive bid strategy, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with management to turn preliminary data into actionable cost

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles, methods and EPC delivery.
• Ability to independently lead estimates and manage scope, quantities, pricing and assumptions.
• Experience coordinating estimating resources and leading bids.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual, budgetary and competitive EPC estimates for large projects.
• Serve as Lead Estimator on assigned pursuits with scope, risk and deliverables definition.
• Coordinate Estimator I-III resources to ensure timely, accurate estimate development.
• Ensure compliance with RFP requirements and internal standards.
• Organize and present estimates so labor, equipment, and material assumptions are clear.
