Job summary

DESRI is seeking a talented estimator to lead its cost estimating function for utility-scale solar and renewable energy projects. You will oversee balance of plant (DC/AC electrical and mechanical) and high voltage cost estimates, review EPC bids, and collaborate with development teams and EPCs to ensure accurate, timely estimates.

The role involves early to mid-late-stage project support, travel to project sites for condition reviews, and a collaborative environment within a fast-moving EPC

Qualifications

Experience with EPC and BOP estimate structure for utility-scale projects.
Ability to travel to sites to review site conditions during proposals.
Familiarity with utility-scale construction concepts, means and methods.

Responsibilities

Lead DESRI’s cost estimating function for solar and renewables projects.
Prepare cost estimates for early-stage and mid-late-stage EPC bids.
Review and optimize EPC bids based on costs, methods, and schedule milestones.
Coordinate with development teams and EPCs during RFP and execution phases.
