Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks an Estimating Manager 2 to lead bid development for complex projects. You will review plans, prepare cost estimates, and coordinate with subcontractors, vendors and project teams to ensure competitive bids aligned with strategy and client commitments.

You will develop scopes of work, manage pricing, and mentor others while applying knowledge of schedules, logistics and risk to improve profitability on high-profile data center and commercial builds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years estimating experience required; total 8+ years construction experience preferred.
• Data center experience preferred; strong knowledge of cost estimation concepts.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and construction estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Prepares complex cost estimates for competitive bids and negotiated proposals for multiple projects.
• Prepares material and other costs summaries for quotes from vendors.
• Tracks value creation items from development through inclusion and documents in project records.
• Develops and manages scopes of work for all trades, including responsibility matrix and bid coordination.
