Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) is seeking an Estimating Manager to lead the estimating and proposal functions for complex electrical projects, delivering accurate cost assessments and strategic preconstruction support.

This role partners with leadership, operations, and clients to drive successful pursuits while upholding safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You will mentor a high‑performing estimating team, maintain CRM data, and ensure bid documents meet compliance and client

Responsibilities

Lead the estimating and proposal process with strategic direction for pursuits.
Review drawings, specs, and docs to define scope, risks, and opportunities.
Participate in RFQs/RFPs and client interviews with professionalism.
Review and approve estimates and bid submissions for accuracy and compliance.
Lead estimators, balance workloads, and mentor the team.
Represent the company with clients and industry partners to strengthen relationships.
