Job summary

M.C. Dean, headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, seeks an ESS Technology Specialist 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

You will design, engineer, integrate, operate, and maintain electronic security services for federal, local, and commercial customers across high-growth markets. Responsibilities include Windows Server administration, SQL Server, Hyper-V, network security, and creating system documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant electronics/security experience.
• Associates, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree as listed above.
• Experience in system administration, triage, and network/security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot a wide variety of technical issues in the field and engage with project teams and clients.
• Configure Windows Server, AD, GPOs, and server roles.
• Manage SQL Server environment and SSMS tooling.
• Familiar with Hyper-V, storage, and server failover/clustering.
• Analyze system performance and propose improvements.
• Read engineering drawings and SOWs; produce documentation in Visio, Excel, and Word.
• Coordinate with field personnel and engineering team to resolve installation issues.
• Support post deployment activities and maintain lab environments.
