Job summary

Novata is seeking a Senior Analyst, Advisory in New York, hybrid. You will support ESG engagements, deliver client-ready analyses, and assist in ESG due diligence for private markets.

The role suits a generalist ready to expand expertise across climate risk, carbon, and governance with a data-driven, AI-enabled approach. This role requires at least 2 years in ESG/advisory, an advanced degree preferred, and strong data/AI tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of industry experience in ESG advisory or related field.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field strongly preferred.
• Broad exposure to ESG topics across environmental, social, governance.
• Proficient with core ESG frameworks (GHG Protocol, TCFD, SFDR, PRI, GRI, SASB).
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to translate insights into actions.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in a professional context.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end ESG advisory engagements and client-ready deliverables.
• Deliver portfolio-level ESG analysis using Novata's platform and datasets.
• Guide clients in data collection and iterative ESG program improvement, including AI usage.
• Support ESG due diligence engagements for investor transactions; draft memos.
• Maintain QA standards and collaborate with Advisory, Product, and Success teams.
