Job summary

Novata Advisory in New York City offers a Senior Analyst, Advisory role focused on ESG and sustainability deliverables. You will engage directly with clients, support climate risk, carbon accounting, and regulatory workstreams, and contribute to due diligence engagements.

The role emphasizes translating complex data into actionable insights and leveraging AI tools to boost efficiency. You will work with a lean, tech-enabled team and report to an Advisory Director, with a path to grow expertise

Qualifications

• 2+ years in ESG advisory, sustainability, private equity, or ESG data/tech roles.
• Broad exposure to ESG topics across environmental, social, governance and regulatory disclosure.
• Proficiency with core ESG frameworks (GHG Protocol, TCFD, SFDR, PRI, GRI, SASB).
• Experience with data-driven client work and translating data into insights.
• Experience with private equity or institutional investors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support ESG advisory engagements, delivering client-ready deliverables.
• Conduct data collection, analysis, and benchmarking using the firm's datasets.
• Apply AI tools to enhance client delivery while ensuring QA standards.
• Draft memos and assist with due diligence and regulatory work streams.
