Job summary

Novata is seeking a Senior Analyst, Advisory, to support ESG and sustainability engagements for private markets. You will contribute to data collection, analysis, and client-ready deliverables, working with a US-based team and reporting to an Advisory Director.

The role emphasizes rigor, efficiency, and leveraging AI tools to enhance client outcomes. Based in New York with a hybrid schedule, you will engage directly with clients, drive insights, and help expand our ESG advisory capabilities

Qualifications

• Data fluency and ability to translate insights into actions for stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and writing abilities to articulate ESG topics to novices and experts alike.
• Experience with AI tools for research synthesis, drafting, or analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end ESG advisory engagements with client-ready deliverables across climate risk, carbon, and regulatory workstreams.
• Deliver portfolio-level ESG analysis and benchmarking using Novata's platform and proprietary datasets.
• Guide clients through data collection and iterative improvement of their ESG programs, including AI tooling.
• Support ESG due diligence engagements for investor transactions, including regulatory scans and memos.
• Collaborate with Product and Customer Success to relay client needs and support platform improvements.
