Job summary

HomeLight is seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to serve as the vital human link between processes and clients in Texas. You will review contracts, ensure paperwork accuracy, and drive timely closings while coordinating with agents, lenders, and title teams.

You’ll verify compliance, manage multiple files under deadline pressure, and help grow HomeLight’s escrow services across our partner network. A notary and TX escrow license are required.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of escrow experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and agents.
• Ability to stay organized while handling many contracts under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own the escrow process from contract to closing to ensure timely, accurate closes.
• Verify that all paperwork is complete and compliant.
• Coordinate with lenders and underwriters to fund transactions.
• Build and maintain relationships with agents, attorneys, lenders, surveyors, and government agencies.
• Mentor escrow assistants and oversee workflow improvements.
• Be present at closing to finalize the deal smoothly.
