Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Sr. Escrow Oversight Specialist to oversee loans with mortgage insurance, reconcile PMI payments, and place escrow stops on refinances.

This role requires Escrow knowledge and the ability to handle complex escrow processes in a remote US setting. You will coordinate with FHA/PMI/USDA vendors, compile data for monthly reviews, and ensure regulatory compliance while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred but not required.
• 3-4 years of banking/finance/mortgage or escrow experience.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Programs (Excel, Teams, & Outlook).
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
• Ability to manage work to meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Complete all tasks in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Assist escrow management with boarding processes and reconciliation for recently acquired loan populations.
• Independent oversight of loans with active mortgage insurance (FHA/MIP/USDA).
• Reconcile, process, and bulk transfer monthly payments for FHA/PMI/USDA.
• Communicate with FHA/PMI/USDA vendors to obtain information and rectify issues.
• Process report of loans pending refinance to stop escrow disbursements.
• Generate data points through spreadsheets and relay information for monthly reviews.
• Handle quality control review for junior associates and relay information monthly.
• Escalate high level escrow issues and suggest solutions.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
