Ellucian is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to serve as a Strategic Engagement Manager, leading complex Banner and Colleague SaaS modernization initiatives while managing a curated advisory services portfolio. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management, program management, or complex customer-facing technology delivery.
• Governance, scope and schedule management, resource coordination, financial oversight, risk mitigation, and delivery accountability.
• Working knowledge of ERP environments, higher education processes, and enterprise SaaS modernization.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, relationship-building, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate risks, solve complex problems, influence without direct authority, and drive outcomes across cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing customer-facing consulting engagements, professional services delivery, or complex implementation programs.
• Experience with Ellucian Banner, Colleague, or comparable ERP solutions is valued.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Certinia, Smartsheet, or comparable tools; hands-on preferred.
• PMP, PgMP, Agile, or comparable PM certification is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex Banner and/or Colleague SaaS Modernization engagements, aligning priorities with contracts and outcomes.
• Serve as trusted advisor to institutional leadership, driving executive alignment and critical decisions.
• Establish and maintain engagement governance with executive checkpoints and risk reviews.
• Anticipate risks, identify dependencies, and drive timely resolution of issues.
• Coordinate Ellucian delivery teams, customer stakeholders, and implementation partners for alignment.
• Oversee scope, schedules, milestones, resources, financials and contractual deliverables.
• Assess engagement health, including progress, capacity, milestones, and customer sentiment.
• Partner with stakeholders to demonstrate value and drive SaaS adoption.
• Manage a select portfolio of Advisory Services customers including relationships and roadmaps.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery and support renewals in collaboration with account teams.
