Job summary
Ellucian seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead strategic SaaS modernization engagements, aligning client objectives with delivery and outcomes. You will act as a trusted advisor to institutional leadership, guiding executive alignment, decisions, and risk management while ensuring successful engagement delivery.
The role requires ERP and higher education domain knowledge, strong governance, and the ability to influence across cross-functional teams to drive customer value and SaaS
Qualifications
- Experience leading complex customer-facing technology delivery and ERP/SaaS modernization.
- Strong governance, scope and schedule management, and delivery accountability.
- Knowledge of ERP environments and higher education processes is preferred.
- Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to anticipate risks, influence without authority, and drive outcomes.
- Experience with advisory services engagements or complex implementation programs.
- Familiarity with Ellucian Banner, Colleague, or similar ERP solutions preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex Banner and/or Colleague SaaS Modernization engagements with aligned outcomes.
- Advise institutional leadership, drive executive alignment, manage escalations and relationships.
- Establish governance with checkpoints, risk reviews, and decision management.
- Identify cross-functional dependencies and resolve issues to protect delivery.
- Coordinate delivery teams, stakeholders, and partners for alignment and execution.
- Oversee scope, schedules, milestones, resources and contractual deliverables.
- Monitor engagement health and provide actionable leadership recommendations.
- Partner with stakeholders to demonstrate customer value and drive SaaS adoption.
- Manage a portfolio of Advisory Services customers including roadmaps and renewals.
- Seek opportunities to improve delivery and expand service with account teams.
