Job summary

Ellucian is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead the design of scalable, cloud-based SaaS solutions for higher education. You will partner with sales, engage with customer stakeholders, and guide architecture from discovery through delivery while mentoring others and advocating responsible AI use.

You will drive cross-functional initiatives across cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and modern development frameworks, delivering high-value outcomes for institutions worldwide.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive software/cloud/solutions engineering experience.
• 3+ years in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or customer-facing roles.
• Strong communication of complex trade-offs to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and architecture for scalable SaaS solutions across cloud platforms.
• Partner with sales teams to shape opportunities, run customer workshops, respond to RFPs.
• Design, develop, and extend SaaS solutions with secure, reusable patterns.
