Job summary

Morgan Stanley at Work, a division of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, seeks a Senior Consulting Manager for Financial Reporting Solutions. You will be a subject-matter expert in equity compensation expensing and financial reporting, serving multiple clients, interpreting reporting needs in EEO or Shareworks, and delivering training and support to clients and internal partners.

Travel up to 10% may be required. The role emphasizes client service, training, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related field is required, with a Master’s degree as a plus
• 7+ years of experience in public accounting, SEC reporting, FP&A and/or equity compensation
• Experience in customer service and/or a client-facing role with a strong aptitude for understanding and responding to client needs
• Effective in training and developing other team members in complex reporting solutions
• Proven technical, client engagement, and project leadership skills
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities across assignments
• Excellent verbal and written communication in client settings; ability to explain complex topics clearly
• Strong teamwork and leadership; ability to influence cross-functional teams
• Proactive risk identification with solutions and resource mobilization
• Travel up to 10% and CPA preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides a clear, compelling explanation of our financial reporting value proposition to clients
• Develops and maintains relationships with key business decision makers
• Identifies services to meet client needs and participates in industry events as a subject matter expert
• Creates materials and conducts internal training to expand knowledge of Shareworks and EEO
• Assists with external documentation and training to enhance client reporting experience
• Researches, reconciles and resolves reporting issues submitted by clients
