Job summary

Morgan Stanley at Work seeks a Senior Consulting Manager to lead equity compensation reporting engagements, leveraging EEO/Shareworks solutions. You will guide clients, deliver financial reporting insights and mentor analysts across engagements.

This role emphasizes client service, cross‑functional collaboration, and travel up to 10% to meet client needs. A CPA is preferred, with deep accounting and tax knowledge in equity reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related field is required
  • 7+ years of combined experience in public accounting, SEC reporting, FP&A and/or equity compensation
  • Experience in customer service and/or a client-facing role with a strong aptitude for understanding and responding to client needs with innovative solutions based on knowledge of businesses, products, services and external factors (e.g., regulatory, economic, and industry trends)
  • Effective in training and developing other team members in complex reporting solutions
  • Proven technical, client engagement, and project leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Provides a clear, compelling and articulate explanation of our financial reporting value proposition to prospective and/or existing clients
  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with key business decision makers
  • Develops key industry contacts that will assist in building effective relationships and support the close of sales or strengthen existing client relationships
  • Helps identify services to meet client needs, define methodologies and best practices to deliver those services, and participate in industry events as a subject matter expert
  • Identifies and document FAQs and solutions for financial reporting topics and best practices
  • Creates materials and conduct internal training to expand Shareworks and EEO financial reporting knowledge
  • Assists with external documentation and training efforts to enhance client’s reporting experience
  • Researches, reconciles and resolves reporting issues submitted by clients
