Job summary

Sierra Space, based in Louisville, Colorado, seeks a Senior Equity Administrator to lead the company’s equity compensation programs (stock options, RSUs, performance shares, ESPP). You will manage transactions, maintain cap tables, and ensure regulatory compliance while partnering with HR, Finance, and Legal.

The role requires advanced Excel skills, experience with equity platforms, and deep knowledge of SEC rules and ASC 718.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Typically 8+ years of experience in equity compensation administration.
• Experience managing complex stock plans and multiple equity vehicles.
• Advanced analytical skills and ability to interpret equity regulations and ASC 718.
• Expertise with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex Excel formulas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee annual equity grant programs and communications.
• Process and administer equity transactions in compliance with plan provisions and regulations.
• Determine appropriate equity packages for hires, promotions, and grants.
• Maintain accurate equity records, cap tables, and documentation.
• Manage vendor relationships with plan administrators and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with securities laws and accounting standards (ASC 718).
• Prepare Form 3/4/5 reports within Workiva and support SOX controls.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, Tax, and Payroll to optimize equity programs.
• Provide guidance on equity policies and administration to HR and management.
• Support HR initiatives related to equity compensation.
