Job summary

Impellam Group is seeking a Senior Stock Plan Administrator to own day-to-day administration of the equity compensation program, including operations, accounting, compliance, and reporting. You will partner with Legal, Payroll, Accounting, and People Operations, reporting to the Controller.

You will manage grants, vesting, ESPP cycles, and tax reporting, while ensuring SOX and ASC 718 compliance and preparing month-end close packets. Strong data accuracy and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on equity compensation experience within a public company.
• Deep knowledge of equity platforms such as Fidelity Plan Sponsor Webstation or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of ISOs, NSOs, RSUs, and ESPP, with related compliance, tax, and reporting requirements.
• Experience supporting internal/external audits and ensuring SOX and ASC 718 compliance.
• Experience with complex reconciliations, close processes, and equity-related financial reporting.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• CEP certification or progress toward it preferred.

Responsibilities

• Equity Administration & Operations: maintain accurate equity data, administer the equity plan lifecycle, manage grants, vesting, releases, exercises, and cancellations, coordinate ESPP enrollment and purchases.
• Compliance & Reporting: reconcile share pool balances, assist with equity plan setup and governance, maintain records for audits, perform month-end journal entries, support SBC accounting under ASC 718, and own year-end tax reporting.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with Legal, Payroll, Accounting, and People Operations on compliant equity processes; support payroll with equity reporting and tax compliance.
• Audit & SOX Compliance: maintain SOX controls documentation and respond to auditor requests.
• Process Improvement: document processes and SOX narratives, seek automation and workflow improvements to equity processes.
