Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Sr Manager, Financial Reporting within Schwab Stock Plan Services to provide expertise on equity compensation accounting under ASC 718 and IFRS 2 in the Schwab EquiView system. You will identify system enhancements, develop whitepapers, and train clients while ensuring compliant reporting for corporate clients.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in financial services with 5+ years in equity compensation and ASC 718/IFRS2 experience.
• Ability to balance client needs and implement SPS best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Self-directed and able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive financial reporting support to corporate clients and advise on reporting challenges.
• Lead discovery conversations with clients to determine needs and scope.
• Serve as SME in domestic and international share-based payment concepts.
• Understand Schwab EquiView system from configuration to expense and disclosure reporting.
