Zusammenfassung

Chobani is seeking an Equipment and Reliability Engineer in the United States, New York region, to improve asset and process efficiencies through engineering support and data-driven decision making. The role collaborates with Operations and Maintenance to solve complex problems, redesign equipment, and support new installations while leading projects and initiatives.

The candidate will lead root cause analyses, work with 3rd party teams, and develop conceptual designs for filler/packaging

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 3-5 years of plant-level experience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certified or can achieve within 6 months.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience drafting technical documents and reports.
• Ability to interpret varied technical instructions and variables.
• Proficient with PC software including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and CAD.

Aufgaben

• Solve complex problems to deliver improvements in OEE and/or cost.
• Redesign equipment to meet OEE/cost goals.
• Lead root cause analysis, failure tracking, and corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Coordinate with 3rd party engineering teams when needed.
• Prepare conceptual designs and floor plans for filler/packaging equipment.
• Apply Six Sigma and data-driven tools (FMEA, MTTR, MTBF) to solve problems.
• Act as engineering SME on local project teams.
• Research topics, run studies, and conduct trials with production.
• Assist with transitioning capital projects to production.
• Develop and maintain documentation for filler/packaging changes.
• Evaluate vendor competence and review bid documents.
• Manage project development including budget and schedule.
