Job summary

Chobani is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing setting. The role focuses on equipment reliability, OEE improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Automation.

The ideal candidate will drive Lean/ TPM initiatives, manage critical troubleshooting, and develop their team through coaching and hands-on leadership to deliver sustained performance and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 6+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, including direct leadership of an engineering team.
• Hands-on technical depth with troubleshooting, RCA, and corrective action development.
• Proven track record delivering operational and engineering improvement projects in a fast-paced 24/7 operation.
• Strong understanding of equipment reliability, Lean, TPM, and continuous improvement.
• Leads and develops engineers at all career stages with a collaborative approach.
• Willingness to support off-shift needs and travel between plant sites

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers with coaching tailored to career stage.
• Own equipment reliability and OEE across fill-pack systems and upstream equipment.
• Engage in downtime events, lead structured RCA, and drive lasting corrective actions.
• Standardize maintenance strategies and use data to identify failure trends and improvements.
• Drive OEE, waste reduction, and yield across fill-pack areas; lead Lean/TPM initiatives.
• Prioritize engineering initiatives in a fast-moving environment and evaluate new technologies.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Automation to solve cross-functional problems.
