Job summary

Traylor Bros., Inc. is seeking an Equipment Superintendent to oversee the yard operations, equipment fleet, and maintenance programs in support of major civil construction projects. The role involves managing asset utilization, mobilization, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in construction or engineering preferred, or 10+ years of construction equipment supervision experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage equipment, maintenance, regulatory compliance, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Track owned and rented equipment and its costs.
• Manage equipment utilization with job sites and adjust asset types as needed.
• Oversee mobilization/transfer of assets and equipment maintenance/inspections.
• Lead regulatory compliance programs and telematics/vehicle maintenance programs.
• Review reports on progress, materials, costs, and adjust schedules.
• Direct day-to-day operations of a yard site from quoting to invoicing and payroll.
• Coordinate with supervisors and subcontractors to prevent delays during work.
• Develop outside business for fabrication, field service, and equipment sales.
