Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with modern technology and application support.
• Epic certification preferred (MyChart and Welcome).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Hybrid work model with on-site travel to Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities

• Configure and customize Epic applications to align with clinical and organizational goals.
• Analyze clinical and administrative workflows to identify opportunities for system optimization and improved efficiency; complete documentation for new and moderately complex processes.
• Provide second and third level technical support; triage and resolve Level 2/3 issues; mentor junior staff; participate in 24/7 standby rotation.
• Perform system maintenance, updates, break-fix, upgrades; create test plans; conduct testing and QA for new implementations; manage cutover plans.
• Demonstrate clear written and oral communication to build relationships and facilitate day-to-day work and projects.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT fundamentals (SDLC) and apply it to IT work within a UPMC department or function.
