Job summary

Adventist HealthCare seeks an Epic Clinical Information System Analyst III for the Radiant Department. The role leads advanced analysis, design, testing, and optimization of Epic workflows and integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, information systems, business, or related field; advanced education preferred.
• 7-8 years of direct clinical, healthcare operations, clinical information systems, application support, or related experience, including implementing/upgrading in an integrated EHR environment.
• Epic certification in assigned application(s) is required or must be obtained within the timeframe established by AHC.
• No formal supervisory experience required; demonstrated experience leading large workstreams and mentoring analysts is required.
• Must maintain Epic credentials and participate in travel, on-call, and extended-hour support for major projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced analysis and enterprise workflow design; architect, configure, build, test, validate, optimize, and maintain Epic functionality across boundaries.
• Resolve high-impact incidents; direct root-cause analysis and coordinate responders.
• Plan and lead large or complex projects, upgrades, implementations, and optimizations with milestones, risks, and testing strategy.
• Serve as senior liaison for operational leaders, governance bodies, Epic representatives, end users, vendors, and technical teams.
• Establish standards for design, testing, change control, documentation, release readiness, data validation, and production support.
