Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Senior Electronic Health Record System Analyst - Epic Prelude/Referrals to support the Clinical Access Revenue System department. This role focuses on optimizing patient access, referrals, and revenue cycle workflows within Epic systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve performance and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, demonstrated Epic

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
Advanced expertise in healthcare IT and Epic systems, esp. referrals and access workflows.
Preferred: experience as a referrals analyst, project management, and familiarity with AI workflow tools.

Responsibilities

Lead and communicate implementation, high-risk maintenance, and optimization of the Epic EHR system.
Provide technical support and operational workflow expertise for system deployment and enhancements.
Collect and analyze system performance data to identify improvements.
Manage and prioritize system modification requests across stakeholders.
Lead and coordinate multiple projects within integrated teams.
Translate business needs into technical solutions and system configurations.
