Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Senior Electronic Health Record System Analyst for Epic Prelude/Referrals to optimize patient access, referrals, and revenue cycle workflows across UT MD Anderson.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least five years in healthcare IT with Epic expertise, including Prelude, Cadence, or Referrals, and favors candidates with referrals analyst experience and AI workflow knowledge. Remote work is supported.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of healthcare IT experience.
Experience as a referrals analyst preferred.
Experience with Epic Prelude, Cadence, Referrals preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage Epic EHR implementation and optimization tasks.
Provide technical support and workflow expertise for deployment and enhancement.
Analyze system performance data to identify improvements.
Manage modifications across multiple stakeholders and projects.
Translate business needs into technical configurations and solutions.
Collaborate with clinical, operational and technical teams.
Mentor staff and lead project teams to meet timelines.
