Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Epic Analyst to support and roll out EHR functionality across Prelude, Grand Central, Referrals, and Cadence. This remote-friendly role requires knowledge of healthcare workflows and strong problem-solving abilities.

The candidate should have Epic certifications and the capacity to work with cross-functional teams to optimize clinical and revenue workflows within OU Health's IT Care Delivery Applications department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Epic certification within three months of class completion or six months of hire.
• Level I: 0–3 years IT or healthcare experience; Level II: 3–5 years; Level III: 5+ years; Epic certification required.
• Epic certification in specified areas is required; multiple Epic certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support to end-users and troubleshoot issues to ensure uninterrupted use of the EHR system.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, patches, and upgrades for stability and security.
• Participate in testing and validation activities for system changes and upgrades.
• Assist in configuring and customizing the EHR to meet workflows of healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support EHR initiatives and projects.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and issues for knowledge transfer.
