Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of IT or business experience.
• 2 years of Epic-specific experience; 6 years additional experience can substitute for degree.
• Epic certified in supporting application plus related proficiency/certifications/badges.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier-2 support of Epic incidents, including 24/7 on-call coverage.
• Analyze and resolve incidents, maintenance items, enhancements, upgrades and projects.
• Develop and maintain requirements, specifications and test cases for new or enhanced functionality.
• Modify Epic records, tables and master files to support design and changes.
• Implement changes using documented procedures compliant with policy.
• Participate in team and cross-team meetings and maintain records.
• Demonstrate advanced understanding of Epic application, integration and clinical/revenue cycle apps.
• Work independently 100% of the time.
• Promote teamwork within and across teams.
• Keep test scripts updated to reflect workflow solutions.
• Support training by informing trainers of changes.
• Understand workflows and integration between apps and downstream systems.
• Create new workflows with SME collaboration.
• Create solutions to improve end-user productivity.
