Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a Senior Revenue Cycle Application Analyst (Epic HIM) to lead design, build, test, and implement Epic HIM modules within Revenue Cycle. The role collaborates with HIM, Patient Access, Hospital/Billing teams, and external vendors.

The successful candidate will manage projects, provide training, troubleshoot, and maintain Epic applications, reporting to the HIM Supervisor in Information Services.

Qualifications

• 9 years of related experience, education/training, or a Bachelor's Degree in related area plus five years of related experience (Epic HIM workflows).
• Ability to apply advanced problem-resolution skills to highly complex issues and implement effective solutions.
• Advanced interpersonal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and implement Epic Revenue Cycle application systems.
• Provide project management, training, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with HIM, Revenue Cycle operations, Clinical teams, vendors and other application teams.
