Job summary

The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) seeks an Epic Senior Analyst, HIM for a full-time remote position. You will optimize HIM configurations, serve as primary end-user contact, and guide design, testing, and maintenance of the Epic HIM application.

Responsibilities include collaboration with stakeholders, issue resolution, and training coordination. Requires HIM domain knowledge, Epic certificates, and 3–5 years of healthcare experience; evenings/weekends possible.

Qualifications

Epic certification in Hospital Coding Administration, Deficiency Tracking Administration, Release of Information Administration, Identity are required.
3-5 years of experience in healthcare or healthcare-related organization preferred.
Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
Familiarity with HIM processes: Chart Tracking, Release of Information, Deficiency Tracking, and Coding.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with stakeholders, end-users, and team members to optimize configuration, function, and access.
Serves as primary support contact for application end-users.
Initiates design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the HIM application.
Performs testing and documents workflow design.
Analyzes IT impact on clinical workflows and supports issue resolution.
Mentors junior analysts and supports day-to-day operations.
