Job summary

Nordic Healthcare Group (NHG) is seeking an experienced Epic project manager to lead health IT initiatives and guide teams to successful outcomes. The role requires strong communication with executives, peers, and project teams, and a proven track record in Epic project delivery.

Candidates should have at least five years of Epic project management experience, multiple Epic project certifications, and a background in mentoring and leading client teams.

Qualifications

• All consultants must possess at least one Epic certification. Multiple certifications preferred.
• Some project management experience is preferred.
• Training roles may not always require Epic certification.
• For project management/leadership roles, PMP strongly preferred.
• Minimum two years' Epic work experience after certification.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Highly organized; able to multi-task and maintain focus.
• Self-starter; manage schedules and deadlines.
• Aptitude for mentoring and guiding others.
• Strong work ethic and professional integrity.

Responsibilities

• Perform Epic-related consulting and administrative computer services for Nordic clients.
• Mentor client project teams as necessary in project and system build strategy.
• Track and document risks and issues.
• Analyze and document workflows.
• Work closely with project leadership, including documentation and facilitation.
• Work directly with Epic end users; monitor workflows and provide documentation and optimization suggestions.
• Lead meetings regarding project status and ongoing work-product coordination.
• Additional duties as required per contract and client statement of work.
