Job summary

University Hospital is seeking an Analyst to manage Hospital and Professional Billing claims remittance programming within Epic. You will partner with Finance, IT, and Revenue Cycle leaders to optimize Epic workflows, educate departments, and coordinate with vendors to ensure accurate, timely processing.

The role requires Epic experience (Resolute/Prelude/Grand Central/Cadence), strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a service-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a health-related discipline, CS, business, liberal arts, science, or related field.
• In lieu of a degree, three years of information systems experience with preference for patient care environments.
• Prior Epic experience in Resolute, Prelude, Grand Central or Cadence is highly desirable.
• Must complete certification on an Epic application within 6 months of training.
• Ability to manage project work plans and timelines.
• Strong written and oral communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail is critical; must help users learn and adopt the application.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance, IT and Revenue Cycle to optimize Epic programming, configuration and workflows for claims and remittance.
• Identify and address issues affecting the application area and related teams.
• Provide SME guidance to ensure timely/submission and posting of remittances.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for claims/remittance processing and banking.
• Lead workflow design, testing, and issue analysis.
• Report progress and milestones to leadership and stakeholders.
• Educate teams on Epic best practices and workflows.
• Serve as liaison between end users and Epic implementation staff.
