Job summary

South Central Regional Medical Center is seeking an Epic Hospital Billing Analyst to design, build, implement, and maintain the Epic Hospital Billing module. You will partner with revenue cycle, finance, and clinical stakeholders to optimize workflows, ensure accurate charge capture, and support regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include configuring Epic HB, supporting upgrades, testing, training, and providing on-call support as needed.

Qualifications

• Epic certification in Hospital Billing or ability to obtain certification within 3 months of hire.
• 2+ years of experience with Hospital Billing, insurance payers, CPT coding, or related billing functions.
• Knowledge of CMS regulations, coding standards, and payer billing requirements.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle operations and healthcare billing practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain the Epic Hospital Billing module and configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Hospital Billing system issues; ensure compliance and audits.
• Collaborate across IT and revenue cycle; participate in cross-functional teams.
• Create and maintain build specs, workflow docs, training materials; support testing and go-live activities.
