Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced IT analyst for Pharmacy Applications. The role focuses on Epic platform expertise, business analysis, and coordinating IT solutions for clinical services.

Fully remote within approved states (IL, WI, NC, GA) with standard business hours, after-hours on-call potential, and project go-lives as needed. Requires collaboration with users and IT staff to implement new functionality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• EPIC certification within 6 months and ongoing adherence to technical standards.
• Estimated 5 years' IT or clinical environment experience with mapping and requirements.
• Proficient in EPIC and other applications, OS, and databases.
• Ability to specify user needs, work with vendors, and document outcomes.
• Strong project management skills and independent work capability.
• Willingness to travel as required for project work.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions to meet business needs and changes.
• Coordinate development and implementation of new functionality with users and IT staff.
• Assist with conversion, training, and project go-live activities.
• Communicate with business and IT teams on problems, changes, and enhancements.
• Serve as liaison between clinical service lines, business units and IT.
• Evaluate software offerings and ensure data integrity and standards.
