Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an experienced IT/EPIC Applications Analyst to design and implement solutions for clinical service lines. You will gather requirements, analyze workflows, and coordinate with IT and business teams to deliver enhancements while supporting training and conversions.

The role supports remote collaboration from IL, WI, NC, GA with potential after-hours for go-lives. A strong background in Epic and clinical operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• EPIC certification within 6 months of hire and ongoing adherence to certification requirements.
• Typically 5 years in IT or clinical environment with experience mapping business processes, gathering requirements, testing and documentation.
• Proficient in using EPIC and other applications, operating systems and databases.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops technical and/or non-technical solutions to moderate to complex business needs by gathering and reviewing information and coordinating with IT staff.
• Assists with conversion and operational support planning for multiple projects and coordinates training where applicable.
• Serves as liaison between business and IT to provide technical solutions meeting user needs, including EPIC and 3rd party applications.
• Evaluates vendor offerings and assists with implementation, maintenance and data integrity across applications.
