Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an IT professional to design and implement Epic-based solutions for complex clinical and business processes. You will collaborate with clinicians, administrators, and IT staff to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and deliver reliable software changes.

Responsibilities include coordinating development activities, supporting conversions, and advising on Epic and related systems. Travel may be required as part of project coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Typically requires 5 years in IT or clinical environment.
• Proficient in using EPIC and other applications.
• Strong project management skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks.
• Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions for moderate to complex business needs.
• Coordinate development and implementation with users and IT staff.
• Assist with conversion and operational support planning.
• Serve as liaison between clinical service lines, business units, and IT.
• Provide Epic platform expertise and evaluate vendor offerings.
• Analyze operations to identify automation opportunities.
