Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management seeks a Senior Epic Analyst to lead design, configuration, testing and implementation of Epic applications. You will coordinate with clinical and IT teams to gather requirements, design workflows, oversee testing, security and production release, and mentor other analysts.

This role emphasizes project management, change control and 24x7 support within the Epic environment.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Epic systems and modules.
• Experience gathering requirements from clinical/business stakeholders.
• Ability to design and optimize complex workflows within Epic.

Responsibilities

• Analysis / Design: Leads needs assessment, software design, implementation and support.
• Clinical / Business Knowledge: Understands clinical/business processes and partners to develop workflows.
• Testing: Performs unit testing and leads functional/integrated testing with testing scripts.
• Project and Change Management: Leads projects and develops change management strategies.
• Maintenance/Support: Troubleshoots interfaces and escalates issues; leads upgrades.
• Mentoring: Mentors and trains team members on design and configuration.
• Administrative Documentation: Develops and maintains system documentation and training materials.
• Must abide by PHI requirements and UH policies.
